Flushing protection for boilers with an outlet pipe over 60mm diameter
During a backwash, PureFlow filter elements may float up and be washed out by the current. For this reason, we recommend permanently attaching our PureFlow backwash grid to the outlet pipe for filter tanks with a backwash opening of more than 60mm in diameter (standard = max. 50 mm). This will prevent PureFlow pool filter material from being accidentally washed out during the backwash process.
Our backwash grids are flexible and suitable for all pipe diameters. Either insert the backwash grid into the pipe or slide it over the pipe and secure it with a cable tie, for example. That's all you need to do.
