Flush protection for tanks with an outlet pipe over 60mm diameter
During backwashing, PureFlow filter elements may float up and be individually flushed out by the flow. For this reason, we recommend permanently attaching our PureFlow backwash screen to the outlet pipe for filter tanks with a backwash opening over 60mm diameter (standard = max. 50 mm). This prevents the unwanted flushing out of PureFlow pool filter material during the backwash process.
Our backwash screens are flexible and suitable for all pipe diameters. Either insert the backwash screen into the pipe or slide it over the pipe and secure it, for example, with a cable tie. That's all there is to do.
