Cristal pH reducer granulate (6.0 kg)
A pool requires regular maintenance and even though you need much less chemistry and less cleaning effort with PureFlow filter material, ... it still can't be done without. We offer you this product from Cristal for the correct adjustment of the pH value.
The correct pH value is the prerequisite for the effectiveness of all other care measures, such as water disinfection with chlorine or oxygen. The easily soluble powder is simple to handle.
Advantages
Easy handling, easily soluble, high chemical purity
Additionally prevents corrosion compared to hydrochloric acid
Application
To maintain the optimal pH value of 7.0 - 7.4, values should be checked 1–2 times a week with the PoolTest or water testing device is measured and corrected if necessary. A pH value below 7.0 should be increased by adding pH increaser.
The pH reducer is added over the entire water surface. The addition should be done in portions, whereby the Control of the pH value must be carried out after complete dissolution and mixing of the granulate.
Dosage
Addition amount for 10,000 l pool volume:
To lower the pH value by 0.1, about 100 g of pH reducer is needed. Very hard water requires more pH reducer.
Example calculation of the dosage amount
At a measured pH value of 7.7 and a desired pH value of 7.2, for 10,000 l water volume, 0.5 kg pH reducer is required.
Note
These values are guidelines that may vary with very hard (= lime-containing water) or very soft water. Please inquire with your local water utility about the degree of German hardness (°dH) in your area.
Hardness range "soft" = up to 8.4 °dH, hardness range "medium" = 8.4 to 14 °dH, hardness range "hard" = more than 14 °dH
Chemical description
Concentrated acid granulate, preparation with sodium bisulfate
Tip
To prevent lime precipitation and deposits, the addition of Hardness stabilizer recommended.
